This blog is now devoted to gardening with native plants with a focus on those species native to the east coast of the United States. With an MS in Agricultural Science from the University of Delaware and my love of native plants, I hope to help folks see the beauty and necessity of using native plants in your garden instead of exotic plants. Did you know that our native song birds and native insects are disappearing as our local environments continue to change?

New "sneak peek" pictures of some of the items in the sale!

Hi everyone!
Well the sale is just around the corner and I will be posting some "sneak peek" pics of some of the items we will have for sale on Friday! Check back this afternoon for the pics!!!!

OK! It has been a CRAZY day! Today was full of experiments at the University of Delaware (I am still working on this degree!), picture taking and trying to start on the mural for the bathroom! I am attaching some pictures of what will be available for sale on Friday the 7th.

(This wonderful old measure is SOLD - 8/30/09).I will post the complete list of items, with prices, on Friday at or around 4:30 - 5:00pm. This is actually a "Campbell's Kid from 1910 in her own suitcase. The doll still retains its body tag and marking on the neck. Can't you see her under the Christmas tree?
