Winterberry Farm Primitives

This blog is now devoted to gardening with native plants with a focus on those species native to the east coast of the United States. With an MS in Agricultural Science from the University of Delaware and my love of native plants, I hope to help folks see the beauty and necessity of using native plants in your garden instead of exotic plants. Did you know that our native song birds and native insects are disappearing as our local environments continue to change?
For those who come to this page to see my 'Winterberry Farm Primitives' blog can now be found at http://winterberryfarmprimitivesshopblog.blogspot.com/ where I will post new additions to my online antiques shop at http://www.winterberryfarmprimitives.com/ and discuss various subjects about primitive antiques.

Our first ever announced update/sale!

We had a great night last night at our first ever announced update/sale! Thanks to all of you who emailed me with questions and requests! Thanks to all who bought some wonderful things from us! All of the packages will go out today and since they are being shipped priority mail - should be in their new homes by the middle of the week! Congratulations to Suzanne Charland, the winner of the door prize! I will be shipping the Heatherly Hale print to her this week! The update/sale will continue through the weekend and then the items will be put in the individual albums depending on their category (antiques, country items, primitive needful things, etc.). I hope everyone will come back often to look at our goodies that we have scoured the earth to find for you - LOL! Our new addition - Primitive Needful Things - is just getting ramped up and we will be adding more things in the next few weeks!
The next few blogs will concentrate on High Country decorating and how I have been able to achieve the look I love on a budget! I hate to spend money on anything except good antiques!
Well, I'm off to the bathroom and the mural!
Stay tuned....
